Across The Highlands

£600.00

Dimensions	37 × 68 cm

This acrylic painting on mount board was the result of an initial brief stop for a lunch break while on a painting trip in the highlands. Sandwiched between a cemetary and a hilly field I looked at this view while eating my lunch before deciding on painting it. The weather was mild with no wind, just the birds singing in the trees. I wasn’t at all in a rush while painting this piece.

This painting is framed in a sepia coloured timber moulding and is currently in an exhibition at Leith Makers until 20th September 2026
