This acrylic painting on mount board was the result of an initial brief stop for a lunch break while on a painting trip in the highlands. Sandwiched between a cemetary and a hilly field I looked at this view while eating my lunch before deciding on painting it. The weather was mild with no wind, just the birds singing in the trees. I wasn’t at all in a rush while painting this piece.

Due to the nature of the painting on mount board, this painting would be packaged and posted flat via 2nd class signed for service with Royal Mail.
