During my visit to Manchester I stumbled across a very well stocked art shop, called H.Blyth & Co. In there I saw a flyer for the local print studio Hot Bed Press, which of course I had heard about and have contributed to their annual 20:20 mini print exhibition. I went along to check it out and luckily managed to get a little tour around the studio from the lovely technician Martin.
How fab is the wooden hand made rack to hold papers!
Housed on the first floor of a very old, run down warehouse space. Run down it may be, but a very inviting, light space to work. They have just managed to purchase more of the building so artist studios will soon be housed alongside the print studio…exciting times for the Hot Bed Press.
